New Delhi: Ahead of MCD polls in the national capital, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia launched a new campaign slogan today urging voters to vote AAP for the next municipal body. Speaking at a press conference, Sisodia unveiled the new slogan: “Kejriwal Ki Sarkaar, Kejriwal Ka Paarshad'' (Kejriwal’s government, Kejriwal’s councillor).
On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party held 14 mega roadshows in the national capital where its national president, JP Nadda alleged that the AAP government was a symbol of misgovernance and neck-deep in corruption.
Reacting to the allegations by the saffron party, Sisodia in today’s press conference hit back at BJP saying that the former had nothing to enumerate as their achievements despite being in power in the MCD for the last 15 years.
“Whenever someone asks BJP about what work they did in the last 15 years or why they should be voted to power, they don’t answer that and start bad mouthing about Kejriwal instead,” Sisodia said, targeting the BJP.
“Last time, by chance some members of the BJP got elected in the MCD polls, but this time make sure that they are not voted to the wards as they will restrict any developmental work that Kejriwal will initiate,” he added.

As many as 1,349 candidates are in the fray for the polls to 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), the SEC said.
