New Delhi: Four flights were diverted at the Delhi airport on Tuesday due to bad weather, according to an official. The flights were diverted to Lucknow and Amritsar, reported news agency ANI. Heavy rain lashed parts of Delhi and Gurugram on Tuesday.
"Flight UK960 from Mumbai to Delhi (BOM-DEL) has been diverted to Amritsar (ATQ) due to bad weather at Delhi Airport and is expected to arrive in Amritsar at 1530 hours. Please stay tuned for further updates," Vistara said on Twitter.
In another tweet, the airline said, "Flight UK836 from Chennai to Delhi (MAA-DEL) has been diverted to Amritsar (ATQ) due to bad weather at Delhi airport and is expected to arrive in Amritsar at 1540hrs. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Light rainfall or thundershower has been predicted for the national capital on Tuesday, even as the minimum temperature settled at 29.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.
ANI shared a video of severe waterlogging in various parts of Gurugram after the rainfall.
The weather office has forecast a generally cloudy sky with light rain or thundershowers later in the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
“Intense cloud patch entering into Northwest Delhi likely to cause moderate to heavy spell over Northwest, Central and Southwest Delhi during next 1-2 hours," the weather office said today.
