"There is anger in the entire country about this (his arrest by ED), we condemn it. INDIA Alliance will hold a rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on March 31...Today the Constitution has come in danger, constitutional rights have come in danger, today there is a need to save the Constitution, democracy," Congress MP Deepender Hooda told ANI.
AAP Odisha holds a day-long fast in protest against the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal by the ED, in connection to the Delhi excise policy case.
"The investigative agency is doing its work, I think we should let them do their work; everything is going to be apparent when things will come in court...I welcome this decision," BJP Delhi President Virendraa Sachdeva told ANI.
Delhi Court extended the ED remand of CM Arvind Kejriwal till April 1.
"Apart from his personal involvement, being the AAP convenor, the money was used in the AAP Goa campaign and there are many statements regarding this. A CM is not above the law," Ed tells court during Arvind Kejriwal's remand hearing.
The Delhi High Court on Thursday, said that there is no scope for judicial interference in the matter seeking removal of Arvind Kejriwal from the position of Delhi Chief Minister. The high court junked the PIL filed by one petitioner to remove Kejriwal from the CM post after his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi Liquor Policy Case.

Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, in a press conference, said, "Three of our Punjab MLAs held a press conference yesterday. They said that the majority of AAP MLAs have received calls luring them to join the BJP. What Arvind Kejriwal had been saying has come out to be true today. 'Operation Lotus' is being run to destroy AAP and destabilise our governments in Delhi and Punjab".
Delhi minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj on Thursday said that the BJP wanted to implicate CM Arvind Kejriwal as it wanted to break the party in Delhi and Punjab. "Now, they are breaking away our leaders," he said referring to two leaders moving to the BJP on Wednesday.
Delhi High Court to hear today a PIL to remove Arvind Kejriwal from the post of Delhi Chief Minister. A Bench of Acting Chief Justice (ACJ) Manmohan and Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora are likely to hear the matter. The PIL has been filed by one Surjit Singh Yadav.

Hours after India summoned a senior US diplomat to protest comments about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller reiterated on Wednesday that Washington supports fair, transparent, and timely legal processes, and that "we don't think anyone should object to that".
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita claimed her husband would do a "big expose" on the alleged excise policy scam in court on Thursday, even as the AAP supremo did not get immediate relief from the Delhi High Court which refused to interfere with his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday refrained from intervening in the case involving Kejriwal's arrest related to the Delhi excise policy, issuing a notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for both the primary matter and Delhi CM's plea for interim relief. The court has scheduled the matter for "final disposal" on April 3.
Kejriwal's custody under the ED is set to conclude on Thursday, after which he will be presented before the Rouse Avenue Court. Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, presiding over the single-judge bench, observed that the requests for Kejriwal's release in both petitions are similar and identical.
Sunita, the wife of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, indicated that her husband will make significant revelations regarding the alleged excise policy scam during the court proceedings on Thursday.
Despite the lack of immediate relief from the Delhi High Court, she remains optimistic about Kejriwal's stance. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena underscored that the Delhi government would not be operated from jail, amidst speculation about Kejriwal's continued tenure. He made his remarks during a summit by Times Now.
In a PTI interview, AAP leader and Delhi cabinet minister Atishi noted legal provisions disqualifying a lawmaker upon conviction, responding to Saxena's statements. She also suggested that Kejriwal's arrest could politically benefit AAP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, denouncing his arrest as an attack on democracy.
Protests erupted from both AAP and BJP factions, with demands for resignation and counter-sloganeering. AAP legislators, donned in yellow attire and 'Kejriwal' masks, protested within the Delhi Assembly against what they termed as the "illegal arrest" of their chief minister.
In a digital briefing, Sunita Kejriwal said that her husband would disclose details and evidence related to the alleged liquor scam during the court hearing on Thursday. She questioned the findings of the central probe agency, noting the absence of substantial evidence during raids.
Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, while refusing to intervene in Kejriwal's arrest, instructed the Enforcement Directorate to respond to the AAP leader's petitions before April 2. The matter is set for final disposal on April 3 without adjournment.
