A violent altercation, which according to sources erupted inside the Tihar jail on Monday, resulted in four prisoners sustaining injuries. The clash erupted between two groups, with each trying to maintain their dominance. Citing this incident in Delhi's Tihar Jail, AAP MP Sanjay Singh claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently incarcerated and lodged in Tihar jail, "is in danger".
The AAP leader, who was released from Tihar jail on April 3, said: "Do you that there have been several murders that have happened in Tihar Jail? When I say that Arvind Kejriwal's life is in danger, a conspiracy is being hatched against Arvind Kejriwal and they are playing with the life of Arvind Kejriwal, no one believes it."
He further questioned who would be held responsible if a similar incident happened with the AAP supremo inside the jail.
"If such instances of murder have been occurring frequently in the Tihar jail over the last one and a half years. They (the opposition) are vicious and dangerous people. These people can do anything similar to Arvind Kejriwal too. They are dangerous people and are monitoring the Delhi CM through CCTV 24 hours. Arvind Kejriwal's life is in danger inside the jail," he added.
4 Injured After Clash Erupts In Tihar Jail
A clash erupted between two groups on Monday in Tihar Jail, which resulted in four people getting injured during the scuffle.
The fight is said to have occurred over going to the toilet, after which one of the two groups, in a bid to maintain dominance in the jail, attacked the other with sticks made in jail.
Four people were injured in the clash that took place in the jail's prison number 3. The injured prisoners have been identified as Durgesh, Deepak, Dheeraj, and Dinesh.
Upon hearing the prisoners' commotion, the jail wardens immediately arrived at the scene and rushed the injured prisoners to a nearby hospital.
Following the incident, a case was registered and an investigation was also initiated at Hari Nagar police station.

Tillu Tajpuriya & Prince Teotia Stabbed To Death Inside Tihar Jail
Tihar jail is infamous for its gang fights and instances of attacks and murder carried out by the inmates. The most recent of these cases was that gangstersTillu Tajpuria and Prince Teotia who were stabbed to death inside Tihar jail by rival gang members last year.
Tajpuria, a jailed gangster, accused in Delhi's Rohini court shootout, died after he was stabbed with an iron rod by four inmates in May 2023.
Tajpuriya was allegedly involved in the murder of Jitender Maan alias Gogi in a shootout which occurred in September 2021, inside a courtroom at Rohini courts complex.
The attackers —Deepak alias Titar, Rajesh, Yogesh alias Tunda, and Riyaz Khan —were lodged on the first floor of the same ward.
Although he was rushed to Delhi's Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, he was declared brought dead.
Prince Teotia, who was said to be a close aide of Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was also stabbed to death by members of a rival gang during a fight, in April 2023.
Teotia was stabbed eight times with improvised knives, which the attackers made by sharpening spoons and edges of aluminium plates, The Print reported citing a jail official.
Several other inmates were also injured during the incident.
Teotia was involved in around 16 cases including those of kidnapping, murder, and extortion.
