The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will display posters against prime minister Narendra Modi in 11 languages across the country on March 30 (Thursday), news agency PTI reported quoting the party's state convener Gopal Rai.

"On March 30, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will distribute posters across the country. The party's state units have been asked to distribute posters in their respective states. The posters were printed in 11 different languages:" Rai, the Delhi AAP's chief and environment minister was quoted as saying by PTI.

Last week, posters reading "Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao" (remove Modi, save India) appeared on walls and power poles throughout the national capital, prompting police to arrest six people and file 49 FIRs.

The BJP retaliated by putting posters with the words "Kejriwal Hatao, Delhi Bachao" (remove Kejriwal, save Delhi) across the national capital.

On Tuesday, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the country is going through a difficult period as he launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led central government.

"There is rampant loot by the Centre. They have looted more in seven years than what Congress had looted in 75 years. The country is passing through difficult times. We are deeply worried about the situation," Kejriwal was quoted as saying by PTI.

The chief minister raised the Adani issue in the Delhi Assembly, ratcheting up his criticism of PM Modi.

In a press conference, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shaktisinh Gohil stated that Kachhadia was convicted by a Gujarat court for assaulting a Dalit doctor in 2016 and that his conviction was upheld by the High Court.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan asserted on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was stifling democracy and targeting senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in order to save his "close friend (industrialist Gautam) Adani."

Chavan also said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi because the saffron party was afraid of him.

"Gandhi had asked straight questions in Parliament about the Adani mega scam, such as where the Rs 20,000 crore invested in Adani's shell companies came from, whose money it was, and where this black money was generated," he was quoted as saying by PTI.
