Between 1988 and 1989, a man named Tsutomu Miyazaki, then in his late 20s, terrorised Japan with a brutal crime spree that targeted four girls aged between 4 and 7 years. According to an AFP report, he confessed to eating the limbs of two of his victims. He reportedly mutilated the girls’ corpses, and slept next to them.
