In 1921, a woman was sentenced to Denmark, the first such instance since 1861. Her crime? Convicted of killing nine babies, Dagmar Overbye is believed to have murdered as many as 25 infants, including one of her own. She herself claimed to have killed 16, Norwegian online newspaper, ABC Nyheter, reported.
