UP Weather News: The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed for the better. On Monday, parts of eastern UP received showers with strong winds, bringing some relief from the heat. As a result of the rain, a significant drop in temperature was recorded in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, and Agra divisions. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the rainy weather is expected to continue for a few days, keeping a heatwave at bay. Rain is expected in both divisions of the state until May 4.

According to the IMD, the western UP is expected to remain dry on Tuesday, but there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in many areas of eastern UP. Strong winds will blow at speeds of 25-35 km per hour, while a warning has also been issued for lightning with thunder in some places. Rain is possible on Wednesday in both eastern and western divisions. A dust storm warning has also been issued in the state until May 4.
