The monsoon has returned with full force in Uttar Pradesh, bringing widespread rainfall and a much-needed break from the intense summer heat. On Monday, several parts of the state received heavy downpours, while overcast skies loomed over many others. The shift in weather has not only brought cooler temperatures but also a sense of relief as chilly winds swept through, replacing the stifling humidity of previous weeks.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon has become active once again across the region. As a result, spells of rain accompanied by thunderstorms are expected to persist across both eastern and western parts of the state till at least July 6.

The Bundelkhand region, particularly districts like Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, and Hamirpur, is on orange alert for very heavy rainfall.
