UP Crime News: The Yamunapuram Colony in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr woke up to a shock on Thursday when the news of a Class-10 student stabbing his constable father spread. The incident occurred in the Bulandshahr Kotwali (rural) area, where the minor stabbed his father to death with a knife for not giving him the car keys. Praveen Kumar, a constable with the UP Police, was being rushed to a hospital for treatment, but he died on the way. The deceased's wife and father-in-law were present at home at the time of the incident.

Constable Praveen Kumar's father-in-law Vishanbharn Dayal said Praveen's son was asking for the car keys to go out. However, Praveen refused. This led to an argument between the two.

Angered at the refusal, Praveen's son brought out a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Praveen in the chest. The knife purportedly pierced Praveen's heart and a large amount of blood started gushing out of the wound. Praveen immediately collapsed to the ground.

The minor son was taken into custody by the police. Bulandshahr city SP Shankar Prasad said that the deceased, head constable Praveen Kumar, was posted at the Power Corporation. He lived with his family in Yamunapuram area.
