Son Rams Two-Wheeler Into Father, Stabs Him To Death Near Police Station In Hyderabad

The 45-year-old was standing at the bus stop at ECIL X Road, when his son arrived on a two-wheeler, rammed it into his father, and launched a knife attack on him. He was arrested from murder spot.

A 25-year-old man allegedly stabbed his father to death in public view in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. Ironically, the incident took place just a stone's throw away from the Kushaiguda police station near ECIL X Roads.

The victim reportedly died after suffering 15 stab injuries. The accused, identified as Sai Kumar, was taken into custody from the murder spot.

Kumar's father and victim, Moglie, a resident of Lalapet was an employee of a transport company. The 45-year-old was standing at the bus stop at ECIL X Road, when his son arrived on a two-wheeler, rammed it into his father, and launched a knife attack on him, police told the Times Of India.

When the victim tried to escape, the accused chased and pinned him to the ground and began repeatedly stabbing him. The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.

Passers-by were shocked to see the gruesome attack and tried to stop the accused by shouting at him, but their cries fell on deaf ears as the man continued to stab his father, the report said.

An eyewitness said that they did not dare to go close to him as he was already in an aggressive mood and had a knife in his possession. However, one of the witnesses later alerted the police, who reached the spot immediately, and took the accused into custody.
