A group of men opened fire at a pub in South Delhi after getting into an argument with the manager over seating arrangements on Sunday, officials reported. In connection with the incident, at least five people have been arrested.
According to India Today, police said a group of young men from Jahangirpuri visited the Love Bite Café and Lounge in the Satya Niketan area to celebrate a birthday party. The situation escalated when a seating dispute arose between the group and the pub manager. The altercation quickly turned violent, with one of the young men opening fire inside the pub.

Angered by the argument, Ahmed, one of the arrested individuals, fired several rounds into the air. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. Later, the pub authorities called the police, leading to the arrest of Ahmed.
As per the police, 26-year-old Ahmed works as a vendor in Jahangirpuri, while the second person who was arrested has been identified as Mangal, a footwear seller.
Three Others Arrested
Three additional people who had been involved in six earlier instances were also taken into custody: Atul, 20, Adil, 19, and Javed, 23. Javed was found to have the illegal handgun that was used in the crime, a 7.65mm pistol with five live bullets.
An SUV involved in the crime was also seized, and found in Mangal's possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
A similar incident was reported yesterday in Delhi where a 25-year-old man was arrested by Police after he allegedly opened fire at a sweets shop in the Tilak Nagar area. Police arrested the identified accused Vishu alias Kranti (25) after a brief exchange of fire.
Police confirmed that they recovered an automatic pistol and four empty cartridges from Vishu, who is a resident of Kakrola village and an active member of the Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu gang.
