The glass gate shattered as the RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav left the Gyan Bhawan in Patna after Chhatra Yuva Sansad on Thursday. According to news agency PTI, one party worker has also been injured.

After the event concluded at Bapu Auditorium in Patna, the crowd became uncontrollable, and the glass at the entrance of the auditorium was shattered. A worker of the party has also sustained injury. According to media reports, the crowd became eager to take selfies with Yadav as he was leaving the venue. It led to pushing and shoving, ultimately resulting in the mishap.

According to a video posted by news agency PTI, hundreds of students could be seen out of the Bapu Auditorium following Yadav. The video also shows large amounts of broken glass panes.

Yadav, according to Navbharat Times, made several major promises to students and youth. He announced that if his party comes to power in Bihar, milk and two eggs will be included in the mid-day meal scheme. He also said that if the government is formed, milk and two eggs will be provided in the mid-day meal.

The former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister also promised to set up digital libraries in government schools and to establish a world-class university in the state. Emphasizing education as a priority, Tejashwi spoke about ensuring a bright future for the youth.
