A massive fire broke out in the KBZ Namkeen factory in Rajkot district of Gujarat on Monday. Later, the blaze was brought under control and fortunately, no casualties were reported during the incident, according to a report by news agency ANI.

Massive Fire Erupts Near Indian Oil Depot In Jharkhand’s Deoghar

In a similar incident, a massive fire broke out near an Indian Oil depot in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district on Tuesday (March 18), prompting authorities to evacuate nearby villages and shift oil tankers to safety.

According to officials, the fire erupted in the parking area of the depot, adjacent to Badladih village in Jasidih. The flames soon spread over a large area, raising concerns due to the presence of gas pipes at a distance from the site.

Sub Divisional Officer Ravi Kumar, who is overseeing the fire-fighting operations, told news agency PTI, “There was no loss of life or goods in the incident. The situation is under control.”

Deputy Commissioner Deoghar took to X and posed, "Taking quick action in the case related to the fire in the parking area of #IOCl and Badadih village within the Jacidh area of the district, fire engines are working to control the fire. Also, all oil tankers have been moved to a safe place from a safety point of view."
