Camera Found In Changing Room Of MRI Lab In Jodhpur Hospital, Security Guard Arrested

The Deputy Superintendent of MDM Hospital, Dr. Sandeep Arora, stated that they have received information about the incident, and a notice has been issued to the concerned agency.

A man has been arrested for reportedly recording the female patients by placing his mobile phone inside the changing room of the MRI lab of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

A woman admitted to the neuro ward of the Hospital was scheduled for an MRI scan. When she was sent to the MRI lab and went to change her clothes, she grew suspicious that there might be a hidden camera in the room. Upon checking, she discovered a camera and immediately reported the matter to the hospital authorities and the police.

It was found that Rahimuddin Abbasi, employed as a security guard at the hospital, had hidden his mobile phone inside the changing room to secretly record videos. Following the complaint, the police promptly arrived at the scene and arrested him.

The family of the woman has also filed a report at the Shastrinagar Police Station. Currently, the police are investigating to discover the repetition of the incidents in the past or elsewhere by the accused in the past. The police are also trying to determine the motive behind recording these videos.

The hospital will also be filing a formal complaint with the police.

Woman In Bengaluru Claims Hidden Camera In Restaurant's Washroom

A similar incident surfaced on May 7, 2025, in Bengaluru, where a woman came forward with serious allegations of being secretly recorded in the restroom of a well-known restaurant in Koramangala.

The incident, which she described as a traumatic experience, occurred on April 25 at Anand Sweets and Savouries, a popular eatery frequented by families and long-time patrons.

The woman shared her ordeal through a detailed post on Instagram recounting how she became suspicious while using the restroom. She wrote that as she crouched to inspect the ventilation slats, she spotted a mobile phone positioned in the adjacent stall. The device moved, confirming her worst fears that someone was attempting to record her, as per a report on Times Now.
