Former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal on Sunday offered prayers at the Golden Temple in Punjab.
The Aam Aadmi Party national convenor was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Today marks the completion of three years of Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government in Punjab. Mann was sworn in as the 17th Chief Minster of Punjab on March 16, 2022.
Arvind Kejriwal said, "Today marks the completion of three years of our Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab government. On March 16, 2022, Mann Sahab took the oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab and today we have come to the court of Guru Maharaj to seek his blessings. In these three years, he has shown us the way, guided us and given us strength so that we may continue serving the people and follow the path shown by Guru Maharaj..."
Refuting the claims of opposition party of changing the CM of Punjab, the AAP national convenor said, "Bhagwant Mann will complete his 5 years as the CM, and he will also complete the next 5 years..."
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, "Today, our party's government completes three years. On March 16, 2022, at the ancestral village of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Khatkar Kalan, we took an oath... We had pledged to make Punjab a prosperous and vibrant state. This was not just the oath of a Chief Minister or a cabinet but a promise made by the entire Punjab..."
BJP Slams Punjab Govt Over Rising Crimes
As the Punjab government celebrated three years, BJP leader Anil Sareen slammed it over rising bomb blasts, crime, and safety concerns, stating that 13 blasts in three months have mainly targeted police stations.
