Maharashtra's Pune will experience power outages in different areas to facilitate work by the Metro and the electricity department. Residents of Shivajinagar and Deccan will experience a power outage on Thursday, February 6, from 8 AM to 4 PM due to electrical maintenance. This outage will be part of ongoing projects related to Pune Metro and the Maharashtra Electric Power Transmission System (MahaTransco), reported Lokmat Times.
The maintenance work will focus on high-voltage power lines along the Shivajinagar to Hinjawadi route, and several substations, including Ganeshkhind, Chinchwad, and GKRS in Kothrud, will also be impacted.

Mahavitaran has notified registered consumers about the power outage through text alerts, the Lokmat Times Report said. Residents were advised to prepare for the outage and follow appropriate safety precautions during the maintenance period.
