Noida: A parking dispute escalated into a violent altercation between two families in Noida's Sector 72, Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening. What began as an argument rapidly turned violent, resulting in the vandalism of a car parked there. The police have arrested six individuals in connection with the incident. The video of the clash is going viral on social media.
According to a report by NDTV, those arrested also include two women and a minor. The clash started as both the parties began quarelling over a parking space in the B Block of Sector 72 on August 26 evening. However, as it got out of hand, the entire family of both the parties got involved in the fight. The people in the video can be seen swearing, vandalising, and attacking their neighbours.
In the chaotic scenes that have been captured in the viral video circulating on social media, two men of one of the group can be seen armed with cricket bats and sticks, smashing the windows and doors of a red car parked at the spot.The footage also shows women from both the groups getting involved in a heated argument. One of them, armed with a bat, even tries to hit the women of the other party involved in the violent clash.
Following the incident, the police registered a complaint at the Sector 113 police station in Noida. Police authorities have also registered cases against both the parties involved in the violent confrontation. An investigation into the matter is underway, the report stated.
