A man in Bengaluru, Karnataka was dragged by a car for at least 50 metres in broad daylight at a toll booth after an argument. The incident captured on CCTV occurred on the Nelamangala Highway of the city, according to a report by NDTV.


The CCTV footage that surfaced on social media shows at the Highway's toll plaza the SUV car dragged a man 50 meters from the boom barrier. The accused ran away but the man struggled to get up without any injury.


The police have launched an investigation to find the accused driver. Officials said the driver and the man had an argument about overtaking which led to a physical exchange. The incident took place yesterday.





The video was posted on X with the caption, "A shocking incident occurred at the Nelamangala toll booth, where a man was dragged for a distance of 50 meters by a car following a heated argument over an overtaking maneuver. The entire sequence of events was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the toll plaza, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation."


He labeled this incident as a disturbing event and has raised serious concerns about road rage and safety at toll booths. He requested the authorities to launch strict monitoring and preventive initiatives to avoid such occurrences in the future.
