AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal's new house has been finalized in the New Delhi area, where he will move with his family within the next one to two days, his party said on Wednesday. Kejriwal has to vacate the official residence of the Delhi Chief Minister at Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines as he no longer holds the post.

The former Chief Minister is likely to move in with his family in one of the two official bungalows allotted to the AAP Rajya Sabha MPs on Feroz Shah Road near Mandi House in Lutyens Delhi, news agency PTI reported quoting sources in the party. The two bungalows are reportedly just a few metres away from the AAP headquarters at Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane.

Earlier, without disclosing the location of the new accommodation, AAP, in a statement said, "Kejriwal will leave the official CM residence in the next 1-2 days, as a house has been finalised for him and his family."

The former CM will live with his family in the New Delhi constituency represented by him in the Delhi Assembly, the party said.

Kejriwal, after resigning as the Delhi chief minister earlier this month, said that he would vacate the official Flagstaff Road residence during the Navratri period. The auspicious Hindu festival commences on Thursday.

Earlier, the AAP had demanded the Central government provide an official residence to Kejriwal as the chief of a national party.
