A video of the incident shows two girls trapped on a balcony, desperately trying to escape. Both attempted to climb down and stood on an air conditioning unit. The hostel's exterior wall was lined with a steel fence, making evacuation difficult. In the chaos, some people were seen trying to place a ladder inside the hostel premises to help them. However, while attempting to descend, one of the girls lost her balance and fell inside the hostel area, while the other managed to climb down safely using the ladder.

Upon receiving the information, fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and successfully evacuated all students. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The sudden blaze led to chaos, with screams echoing throughout the hostel premises.
