An Instagram reel turned costly for a man in Delhi after he was seen riding his bike dangerously in a zig-zag pattern in front of a DTC bus, just to shoot the video. As soon as the video came to the notice of the Delhi Traffic Police, he was identified based on the footage.

Taking prompt action, the Delhi Traffic Police team located him and initiated strict action. Upon further probe, it was found that the bike he used — a Royal Enfield Bullet — was over 15 years old. According to the rules, the authorities seized and scrapped the vehicle and sent it to the scrapyard.

In the video, the bullet rider is not seen wearing a helmet and could be seen riding the bike zig-zag in front of the bus, 253, toward East Delhi's Yamuna Vihar, blocking its path and not letting the driver overtake him. Thereafter, the biker also moves toward the side of the bus driver and tries to hold the side-view mirror of the bus in an attempt to ride along.

The video also has a song playing in the background.

According to NDTV, the vehicle was sold by the first owner over 13 years ago to the biker, but the name transfer was not done. The police also questioned the first owner of the bike in the matter.

The bike is over 15 years old, and according to the anti-pollution policy in the national capital, the authorities decide to scrap the vehicle.
