The Bombay High Court has listed the writ petition filed by Disha Salian's father seeking a fresh probe into her death for hearing on April 2.
Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, filed a writ petition demanding a fresh probe into his daughter's death and interrogation of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray. He had also sought an FIR against leader Aaditya Thackeray and transfer of probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
A copy of the writ petition has also been served to Sameer Wankhede, NCB director at that time, by the advocate representing Satish Salian. Advocate Faizan Merchant, who is representing Wankhede, stated that his client is going to file a detailed affidavit in the High Court to answer all the points concerning his client, news agency ANI reported.
As part of the legal proceedings, Wankhede will have to submit the evidence collected from the time he investigated the case.

Aaditya Thackeray Rejects Allegations, Says People Tried To 'Defame' Him
Earlier, Aditya Thackeray slammed critics who linked him to the Disha Salian's death and accused them of defaming him for the past five years. He stressed that since the matter is already in court, he will reserve his comments and answer during the legal proceedings.
"A lot of people have tried to defame me for the last five years. If the matter is in court, then we will speak in court," Thackeray said.
Disha Salian's death became a controversial case as allegations of rape and murder surfaced after her death. She was the former manager of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and was found dead on June 8, 2020. The Mumbai Police registered an accidental death case in the matter.
In 2023, a three-member special investigation team was formed by the Mumbai Police to probe Salian's death, but nothing concrete emerged from the probe.
Just days after her death, Sushant was found hanging in his flat in Bandra, Mumbai. This triggered a massive controversy, with the investigation later being handed over to the CBI. The postmortem, conducted at Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, stated the cause of the 34-year-old actor's death was asphyxia.
