A group of bullies in Bihar assaulted and harassed a man inside a college campus in Muzaffarpur. The perpetrators thrashed the victim with a stick and belt and made him do sit-ups holding his ears.

A video of the incident that took place at MSKB College in Muzaffarpur has gone viral. The victim, Nabi Hasan was forced to lick spit from the ground, his mother alleged.

Currently absconding, the accused filmed their brutal behaviour and shared it on social media. Based on a written complaint filed by the victim's mother, an FIR was lodged by the police, said an official, adding the accused will be arrested soon.

The family of the victim, Nabi Hasan came to know about the assault only after the video of the episode went viral on Facebook. His mother claimed the accused threatened to kill him at knifepoint, due to which he did not tell about his ordeal to anyone.

However, when asked about the video, the victim told everything to his mother who then approached the police.

Providing details of the horror her son went through, the mother said in her complaint that he had gone to Banaras Chowk for household work when the accused drafted him to a field.

The victim kept pleading with them but that did not stop them, the mother stated further. They kept beating him and forced him to do sit-ups and lick spit, the mother said. She also alleged that the accused forcibly took Rs 2,000 from him.

In October, three members of a family in the district allegedly urinated and spat on a Dalit worker, Rinku Manjhi and hurled casteist slur against him when he asked them for his daily wages, reported the Hindu.

The victim registered a complaint against Ramesh Patel, Arun Patel, and Gaurav Patel stating that the accused recently built a poultry farm where he had worked for several days. When he went to ask for his two-day payment which had been withheld during the Durga Puja celebration, the Patel allegedly beat him up.

After spitting on his face, Gaurav also urinated on Manjhi.
