Muzaffarpur, Bihar – A shocking incident has surfaced from Muzaffarpur, where a property dealer was shot dead late Tuesday night. The victim has been identified as TunTun Chaudhary, a resident of Patahi Jagannath in the Sadar police station area.


Notably, he had survived a similar attack nearly three years ago when miscreants opened fire on him near Patahi.


Attack Near Thakur House Sparks Panic


The murder occurred near Thakur House in the Sadar police station area. According to reports, TunTun Chaudhary, also known as Ram Kishore Chaudhary, was returning home on his Bullet motorcycle after having paan (betel leaves) at Yadav Nagar Chowk when unidentified assailants ambushed him near Thakur House and shot him.


The attack led to immediate chaos in the area. Upon receiving the information, Sadar police rushed to the spot. Severely injured, the Chaudhary was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.


Detailing the incident, city SP Vishwajeet Dayal assured that an investigation is underway to apprehend the culprits soon.


Police Probe Underway


The murder has sparked various speculations in the locality. The police have initiated a thorough investigation, exploring all possible angles. CCTV footage from the area is being analysed to track down the perpetrators of the crime.


Businessman's Throat Slit In Kishanganj


In another incident, criminals slit a businessman's throat in Kishanganj. The incident occurred in the Jhangidighi region. The deceased has been identified as Jaspal Das, alias Serri (35), a resident of Jhangidighi, reported local media websites.


He was a cattle trader. The incident is said to have taken place at around 11 PM on Tuesday night.


Locals said that Jaspal's corpse was discovered by the road about 500 metres away from his house. The local people informed the police about the incident.


On receiving the information about the incident, a police team reached the spot and sent the body to Kishanganj Hospital for post-mortem examination.
