'Miscreants tried to beat up people inside the school'

On Tuesday, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Om Prakash said that on the evening of March 4, around 10 unidentified people went to Delhi Public School and created a ruckus. He said that the miscreants tried to beat up people inside the school and even tried to loot things.

When he was asked by ANI whether he had seen the viral CCTV footage, he said that while he hasn’t seen the video itself, he has received a description in the complaint, and the police are conducting its investigation accordingly. The police are investigating all possible angles, including whether the incident was a revenge attack following the recent firing of a driver at the school.
