Last month, residents of Bengaluru's Electronics City were on high alert after a leopard was sighted in the area. The animal was seen crossing Hosur Road near the Electronics City toll place and heading towards the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) grounds, as per an Economics Times report.

It was suspected that the leopard might have come from Bannerghatta National Park. "We had inputs about the presence of a leopard in the Jigani area for the last 10 days and it may have come from the Bannerghatta National Park (BNP) side. We suspect that the same leopard may have entered this side of the E-City," said V Ganesh, assistant conservator of forests for Bengaluru South.
