A review on Amazon earned major eyeballs as the user left everyone impressed with their writing skills and earned a job offer in return. The user, Prasiddh, wrote a review for Sleepy Owl coffee on Amazon and her comedic, witty writing drew a lot of appreciation from the company’s co-founder.

Prasiddh in her review wrote how preparing for a date pushed her to purchase the coffee in an instant to help make her kitchen look homely. “I am sure I was one fluttery-eyed "Do you want coffee?" away from an "I love you" and confidently skipped the talking-stage "Add To Cart" and went in straight with the committed "Shop Now" button. Zip-Zap-Zoop. The coffee arrived just in time for me to make the twin jars feel at home in my rather empty kitchen!,” the review read.

Prasiddh shared that the date eventually got cancelled, however, she ended up falling in love with the coffee. Things took a turn when not only did her date happen the next evening, but her partner disappeared following the evening with her coffee jars.

Applauding the writer's thinking, Sleepy Owl Coffee co-founder, Ashwajeet Singh, shared the review on his LinkedIn profile. In a post on the social media platform, Singh urged Prasiddh to get in touch with the company and offered her a position in the firm. He commended her for her comic timing and said, "This is copywriting at its best."

The LinkedIn post went viral and received a mixed response from Netizens. While some users lauded Prasiddh for her creative writing, others found the review forced and cringe.

One of the users said, “I have to hire her. She is exactly what I have been looking for—a gold-standard storyteller.”

Meanwhile, another user, a former creative director at Ogilvy, was left unimpressed with the writing and termed it ‘very forced, very formula’.
