Truecaller has appointed Rishit Jhunjhunwala, the current Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of India, as the company’s Group CEO effective January 9, 2025. In a statement, CEO Alan Mamedi and Chief Strategy Officer Nami Zarringhalam announced their decision to step down from their operational roles. Both executives will shift their focus to long-term responsibilities as members of the Truecaller Board and serve as strategic advisors to the company.


Following the transition, Mamedi and Zarringhalam will remain with Truecaller in advisory roles until June 30, 2025, ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities.


Alan Mamedi and Nami Zarringhalam, Co-Founders and departing CEO and Chief Strategy Officer, said, “After much reflection, we have decided to leave our operational responsibilities at Truecaller.
