Gold prices in India remain subdued even today, while silver prices have increased slightly. Today, the price of 22-carat gold per 10 grams increased to Rs 46,200 from Rs 46,160 on Tuesday. At the same time, silver remained at Rs 67,900 per kg.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August gold was trading at Rs 46,543 with a fall of 0.03 percent on the price of 10 grams at 09.30. Silver futures for July were trading 0.07 percent higher at Rs 67,277 per kg.
Gold Rate Today in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata
Gold prices remain volatile in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai today. In Delhi, the price of 22-carat and 24-carat gold per 10 grams remains at Rs 46,150, and Rs 50,250 respectively. In Chennai, gold prices were down by Rs 50 and settled at Rs 44,450. The rate of Mumbai is Rs 46,200.
On the other hand, in Kolkata, the rate of 22-carat gold per 10 gram is Rs 46,670 without change, and the rate of 24-carat gold per 10 gram is Rs 49,220 without any change. Meanwhile, the price of silver is Rs 68,000 in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, and Rs 73,000 per kg in Chennai.
Gold price in global market
Gold prices have significantly fallen to their lowest level in two weeks due to a rise in dollar prices in the global market. On the other hand, the precious metal fell by 6%, marking its biggest weekly decline. Spot gold was down 0.1% at $1,760.90 an ounce at 1:51 a.m. EDT (1751 GMT), stalling the initial bargain buying. US gold futures ended 0.3% lower at $1,759.40 an ounce.
