New Delhi: Diesel prices have fallen for the third consecutive day. The prices of diesel have been reduced by 20 paise in these places. With the reduction in diesel prices in Delhi, Diesel is now being sold at Rs 89.27 per litre, while petrol price has remained the same for nearly 34 days. Petrol is still being sold at Rs 101.84 per litre in Delhi.
Diesel has become 60 paise cheaper in the last three days. Earlier on Wednesday and Thursday also diesel prices had registered a reduction of 20-20 paise. The reduction in diesel prices seems to be providing some relief to its consumers.
Crude oil prices in the international market continue to be in a steady sluggish phase. Crude oil prices have hit a four-month low due to steep fall in prices.
Petrol is selling at Rs 101.84 per litre in Delhi while diesel prices are at Rs 89.27 per litre. In Mumbai, the economic capital of the country, petrol is priced at Rs 107.83 per litre while diesel is Rs 96.84 per litre.
In Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 101.49 per litre while diesel is selling at Rs 93.84 per litre after diesel prices fell by 20 paise on Friday. In Kolkata, diesel is priced at Rs 102.08 while diesel prices are Rs 92.32 per litre.
In Bhopal, petrol is priced at Rs 1.20 while diesel is selling at Rs 98.05. In Ranchi, petrol costs Rs 96.68 while diesel is priced at Rs 94.22. In Bengaluru, petrol is priced at Rs 105.25 while diesel is selling at Rs 94.65 per litre.
Petrol is priced at Rs 104.25 in Patna while diesel is selling at Rs 95.01 per litre. In Chandigarh, the price of petrol is 97.93 paise per litre while diesel is priced at 88.93 paise per litre. Petrol is selling at Rs 98.92 per litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.61 per litre in Lucknow.
