Budget 2019: Union Budget 2019 for the financial year 2019-20 will be presented in the Parliament today (5 July, Friday) and all eyes will be on Nirmala Sitharaman, India’s first full-time female finance minister in almost five decades, who will announce the Union Budget and make her maiden speech. This will be the first major budget of the second term of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government, which retained power at the Centre by winning the 2019 Lok Sabha polls with a massive mandate.

The Union Budget 2019 which will reflect the estimated receipts and expenditure of the government for this particular year, is all set to be presented on July 5. The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will deliver her maiden budget speech at 11 am today. Earlier, this year interim budget was tabled by former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
