Bengaluru traffic is infamous and citizens have to every day deal with the hassle of commuting to and from work. Now, it seems that a resident has figured out a unique solution to beat the traffic and reach office in time.

A Bengaluru resident, Pathik Ghugare, recently shared on social media that he decided to get himself ‘delivered’ to his office when he was unable to book a cab via Ola and Uber. In a post on the social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter, Ghugare said, “Had to porter myself to office today cuz no ola uber.”

The individual used Porter, an app that is used to transport goods across long and short distances, and reached office without having to wait for a cab. The post quickly went viral and got over 1.5 lakh views. Social media was completely impressed by Ghugare’s presence of mind to utilise the app in such a way.

Responding to the post, Porter termed the move ‘Bangalore Brainwave’. The company said, “Talk about a #BangaloreBrainwave! When life gave you no Ola or Uber, you channeled your inner superhero and self-ported to work! Namma Bengaluru, we salute your creativity and problem-solving streak and kudos to you for sharing this wonderful adventure with us.”

Meanwhile, Netizens described the idea as 'genius', with some even calling Ghugare 'traffic-king'. One of the users said, "This is the real Indian smartness. The chaos in our country has made an average Indian smarter than counterparts in any other country. Great going. A new biz opportunity for Porter perhaps."

Another person even suggested that Blinkit might soon announce a service to 'deliver yourself to the office in 10 min in Bengaluru'.
