An auto rickshaw driver from Bengaluru became viral on social media for his unique approach to raise funds for his start-up. Samuel Christy, a graduate turned driver, became famous online with his simple pitch displayed in his vehicle.

Christy in the pitch said, “Hi passenger, my name is Samuel Christy. I’m a graduate who is looking to raise funds for my startup business idea. If you’re interested, please talk to me.”

His idea became famous after a user on social media platform, Reddit, shared an image of his pitch on display in his auto rickshaw. The post aptly mentioned the incident as ‘Yet another Peak Bengaluru moment’.

Many appreciated Christy for making a genuine effort to grow. One of the user commented, “I think it’s a great effort. Hope he is doing something good and hope he succeeds!”

Meanwhile, another user shot back at people focusing on the grammatical errors in the post and said, “Everybody who’s talking about the grammatical errors, I’m sure this man will achieve more than what you guys will ever achieve in life.”

However, there were individuals who expressed their skepticism about the post and shared their personal experiences about scams involving auto drivers in the city. One of the users said, “A few years back, there was an auto driver near Koramangala who scammed people using a fake JEE Advanced scorecard, claiming it was his son’s. He took money from many of my colleagues before being exposed.”
