An Amazon order became the talk of the town when a customer recently talked about his experience with the e-commerce platform.
Sharing the details of his experience on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the user, Jay, said that he received his order of a pressure cooker from Amazon. However, the catch was not only was the order cancelled from the user’s end, but he received it after 2 years of cancelling it.
“Thank you Amazon for delivering my order after 2 years. The cook is elated after the prolonged wait, must be a very special pressure cooker!,” the post read.
The user shared a screenshot that showed that he placed the original order on October 1, 2022. He said that he cancelled it later on, however, the latest update showed that the order was due for delivery on August 28, 2024.
The situation amused Netizens even more when Amazon’s customer service suggested that the user report the issue to their team. However, the individual replied, “Report what? The order was cancelled and refunded back in 2022? And delivered out of nowhere yesterday. How do I pay for it now?” Other users joked about Amazon’s services and one of them even said, “Amazon was under a lot of Pressure. Release now. Happy cooking!”
While another complained about his experience with the company and said, “It’s interesting where someone gets order after cancelling and others don’t get it even after ordering. I have had an experience of the later. Thank you Amazon!!” The post quickly went viral and received more than 1.25 lakh views.
