ABP Live hosted the maiden ‘Future Forward Startup Conclave 2024’ on Tuesday in New Delhi. The summit focused on tracing the journey of a startup from ideation to execution to branding and development. The event aimed to bring together a variety of leaders, innovators, and changemakers from the dynamic startup ecosystem in the country and boost the entrepreneurial spirit in the country.


Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for Ministry of Commerce & Ministry of Industry & Electronics and IT, attended the summit as the chief guest. The summit also awarded business leaders for their genuine contributions to the startup space in the country and their respective industries.


The minister felicitated Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, Co-Founder and CEO, Zostel for Outstanding Achievement in Hostel Innovation. Further, Abhishek Agarwal, Co-Founder, Farmley was honoured for Outstanding Achievement in Natural and Organic Food and Blue Tea founder, Nitesh Singh, received an award for Excellence in Beverage Innovation.


Other dignitaries who were honoured in the summit included Vinay Bansal, Founder, Inflection Point Ventures, Sachin Salunkhe, Chairman and MD, Blackhat Syndicus, Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner, IvyCap Ventures, Chandrasekhar Nandigama, Director, Jivoule Biofuels, and Author Vinay Bansal.

It included various panel discussions on topics such as ‘Mastering the Art of Raising Funds: Insights from Investors’, ‘Product Innovations Defining the Next Decade’, ‘ Innovation's Role in Business Growth: Shaping a Green Economy’, ‘ Strategies and Tactics for Scaling Your Brand’, ‘Adapting to Trends: Evolving a Timeless Brand’, ‘Crafting Your Brand and Defining Your Niche’, and ‘ India's Startup Landscape 2030: Navigating Challenges, Seizing Opportunities’, among others.


The conclave aspired to provide a platform to highlight the achievements of Indian startups while enhancing dialogue on the opportunities and challenges shaping the industry’s path ahead. The panellists included Sachin Salunke (Blackhat Syndicus), Vinay Bansal (Founder, Inflection Point Ventures), Mukul Rustagi (Classplus), Vikas Nangia (AppMySite), Aanchal Saini (Flyrobe), Neha Kant (Clovia), and Prerna Kalra (Daalchini), among others.


Notably, India has established itself as the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world, and boasts more than 1.25 lakh startups and 110 unicorns that have logged ground-breaking contributions across industries like technology, healthcare, and fintech.


Further, initiatives such as Atmanirbhar Bharat and Startup India have provided a boost to innovation, job creation, economic growth, global recognition for the domestic economy.
