Based in Surat, both are finance professionals who have completed their CFA. Anurag worked at a portfolio management firm in Mumbai, while Radhika was employed at a private equity fund, which led them to identify gaps in the education sector that they aimed to address. They realized the challenges in finance during their own educational journeys and ultimately created illustrated books tailored for individuals aged 22 to 40 who required assistance with technical subjects relevant to their careers.
Initially launched in August 2020 as a company focused on selling business courses, they later evolved it into an integrated book platform.

Kunal Bahl commented on their business and acknowledged their efforts. Furthermore, he was particularly impressed by the capital efficiency the siblings have managed to uphold in their enterprise, having invested only Rs 1.7 crore to establish an annual revenue run rate of Rs 21 crore.
Anupam also expressed his admiration for how the siblings ventured into the declining book market, noting that they are bringing a revolution in that space. He also complimented the visual design of ZebraLearn's books, highlighting that it will indeed simplify the learning process.
Meanwhile, Ritesh praised the founders for their efforts to educate individuals about finance, expressing his belief that financial literacy should be part of school curriculums due to its significance and said “The brand should aim at becoming finance content ka badshah”.
In an interesting episode of Shark Tank India, they successfully secured a deal worth ₹1 crore with Ritesh Agarwal, on board to support the growth of their business, ZebraLearn.
