Shivani began her undergraduate studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi, India and then got selected at the prestigious Royal College of Arts in London for her master's in jewellery & metal.
It was here that she first began exploring pearls and started out by slicing one in half to see what was inside. Growing up full of curiosity, Shivani was always fascinated by the intricate details of objects. Her passion for creativity was apparent since a very young age.
Coming from a humble Indian background, it was not easy for her to pursue a career in the opulent world of jewellery. She faced several hurdles, but that did not deter her from pursuing her dreams. Being a woman in a male-dominated industry was tough, and she faced hiccups for several quarters but persevered and continued to learn. She also worked as an apprentice under renowned names in the industry and gained invaluable experience. Her early life and career have been a testament to her passion and determination to succeed as a jewellery designer.
