The Production Headquarters Ltd., a UK-based production company, is celebrating a series of remarkable achievements for their film "Footprints on Water," led by producer Mohaan Nadaar. The film has garnered numerous international awards and significant nominations in the past month, solidifying its position as a standout production.


"Footprints on Water" was selected as the Opening Film at the Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards (OIFFA) 2023 and received the Official Selection for Nirvana - the Festival of Indian Culture and Cinema in St. Tropez, France. Additionally, it secured the Best Actor nomination at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) 2023, won the Best Actor - Making Waves Globally category at the United Kingdom Asian Film Festival (UKAFF) 2023, and claimed the Best Debut Film award at NYIFF 2023. The film also emerged as the Best Debut - Stories Theme winner at UKAFF 2023, and was an Official Selection at the Indo-German Film Week 2023. Furthermore, it earned the Best Actress nomination at NYIFF 2023. The film's accolades continue to accumulate, reaffirming its exceptional quality.


"Footprints on Water" marks the directorial debut of Nathalia Syam and features acclaimed industry professionals. The sound design is by Academy Award winner Resul Pookutty, while the film has been edited by National Award-winning editor Suresh Pai. Renowned composer Tuomas Kantelinen has crafted captivating music for the film. The exceptional performances by actors Adil Hussain, Antonio Aakeel, Nimisha Sajayan, and Lena Kumar further enhance their artistic merit.
