Sukwinder Singh, Jubin Nautiyal, Sayeed Quadri, Osman Mir, Shaan joined Shailendra Singh, former Jt MD of Percept, Inceptor of Sunburn, Guestlist4Good and Boss Entertainment, and Mithoon, composer of the Gadar 2 soundtrack and Bollywood hits like Tum Hi Ho and Sanam Re, to create two anthem4goods and a movement to spread peace, love and unity across the planet. This August 15, they dedicate those anthems to the people of Manipur.

Says Shailendra Singh, “Manipur is a part of India, and the people of Manipur are Indians. This Independence Day, all of India, and Indians around the globe need to send their wishes, healing energy and prayers for peace in the region. Mithoon and I are dedicating our One India, My India anthems to our brothers and sisters in Manipur.”

The first, and highly successful, My India, One India : Kanyakumari to Kashmir, created by Shailendra Singh and composed by Mithoon, features lyrics by Sayeed Quadri and stars the incredible voices of Sukwinder Singh, Jubin Nautiyal and Godswill. The original version released in 2019 and was shared on CNN, Times Now, the Kapil Sharma Show (SONY), Dance India Dance (ZEE) and more.

Version 2.0 of the Anthem4Good took the celebration from West to East, from Bhuj to Bengal, and features the voices of the highly celebrated Gujurati singer, Osman Mir and Shaan, Bollywood’s favorite playback singer, singing in Bengali, in addition to Mithoon and Jubin Nautiyal. Created by Shailendra Singh and composed by Mithoon, this anthem4good has neither a commercial agenda, nor sponsors, so can be shared freely amongst 1.7 billion Indians on the planet.

The music videos for both anthem4goods were written and directed by Shailendra Singh, to amplify the message of ‘peace, love and unity’ – something that Shailendra believes should our focus of the future.

Says Shailendra Singh, “Everything divides us, only love unites. Sadly, the world is currently functioning on the marketing of fear and the propaganda of death, divide and destruction. Those are very tangible things that help people to gain power, and keep that power. What humanity really needs, especially in India during times like these in Manipur, is peace, love and unity. They are very intangible things, but have the power to transform the human experience to something beautiful, progressive and joyful.”
