As the founder of Deepthi Software Solutions, the 45-year-old tech innovator has been transforming hospital management systems across more than 500 hospitals in the state of Telangana. Sunil’s journey began with the creation of hospital management systems that integrated patient data and hospital operations. In 2005, he introduced barcode and QR code cards for patients, an innovation that simplified healthcare workflows and made patient information more accessible.
After more than two decades in hospital administration, Sunil recognized the need for a deeper technological transformation. Seeking to address the challenges of managing vast amounts of data, he enrolled in Great Learning's Postgraduate Program in Cloud Computing, where he mastered AWS services and cloud technologies.
His timing was perfect, as cloud computing is undergoing rapid adoption in the healthcare sector, with the global market projected to reach $89.4 billion by 2027 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 17%. This surge is driven by the need for secure patient data storage, improved collaboration among medical professionals, and the shift away from traditional physical infrastructure. His entry into the field aligns seamlessly with this industry-wide transformation.
This educational journey proved pivotal. Deepthi Software Solutions transitioned to cloud-based healthcare solutions, enabling hospitals across Telangana to operate with unprecedented efficiency, security, and scalability. The impact has been profound: faster patient check-ins, reduced manual errors, and significantly improved patient care.
Recently, Sunil was felicitated by the State President and General Secretary of Telangana Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (TOSA) during a prominent conference for his contributions to healthcare technology and his role in the association. His work with TOSA has allowed him to stay closely connected with the evolving needs of the healthcare community, further fueling his passion for driving digital transformation in the sector.
