History has an old habit of repeating itself. It was in August that the founder of Bangladesh was assassinated, and it’s in the same month, after almost five decades, that his beleaguered daughter, Sheikh Hasina – the longest serving woman prime minister in the world – has had to resign from her post and flee her country. Apparently her fall was sudden. Within a month’s period, the countrywide agitation against her reached a point where even the armed forces could not
