Bengaluru: The 69-year-old Kalavantula Chandrashekhara Rao, popularly known as KCR, did not even listen to his own son and powerful information technology minister and working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), KT Rama Rao, when he was strategising for his bid for a third consecutive term as the chief minister ahead of the November 30 assembly election.  Battling a strong anti-incumbency of 10 years, KCR was well advised by his son to drop at least 30 of the party MLAs
