The ongoing tensions in Ladakh have reached a critical point, and these issues cannot simply be brushed aside or managed through smear campaigns or heavy-handed tactics. This has been the approach taken repeatedly by authorities in times of crisis, but it overlooks the underlying complexities of the situation. Attributing the unrest in Ladakh solely to the recent political changes in neighbouring Nepal, where younger generations succeeded in removing a Communist government, misses the broader
