The grand alliance envisioned by the opposition, christened I.N.D.I.A., has spectacularly imploded. What was meant to be a united front against the Bharatiya Janata Party-ed National Democractic Alliance (NDA) now lies in ruins, with Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress, and Faroouq Abdullah's National Conference choosing to go solo, and Janata Dal (United) and Rashtriya Lok Dal returning to the NDA fold. This dramatic fragmentation raises critical
