COP28 Climate Conference: Who Is Most Responsible And Who Deserves Compensation?

Climate change is no longer a slowly developing future problem. The impacts of climate change are already here. This August was the hottest and driest one that India has experienced in a century, sparking fears of a nation-wide drought. Climate change is making the frequency and severity of such weather much harder to predict — a “once in a century” event can now happen once in a decade. Rainfall improved significantly in September, but even that proved to be a mixed blessing.
