Not just all new cars but plenty of new facelifted metal entered our market this year with these cars getting extensive changes to compete with rivals in nearly all new avatars. Gone are the days when a facelift meant a small styling change as these days it means an overhauled interior plus exterior while also getting a new powertrain.

Kia Seltos

The Seltos this year has been given a proper update which alters the styling with a fresh new look while also getting in sync with the latest design trends. The new Seltos has an evolved front while the rear is all new as well. Inside too, Kia has given the Seltos a refreshed cabin design along with even more features than before including ADAS. Mechanically also, Kia updated the powertrains with a new 1.5l turbo petrol joining the current powertrains.

Tata Nexon

Tata Motors had a busy 2023 as it launched its heavily facelifted Nexon. The new Nexon gains a new look and design language with a split headlamp set-up along with new alloy wheels while the rear styling also has a full width LED light bar as well. Inside, the new Nexon has a revised centre console with a panel dominated by touch controls plus a big touch screen matched by a new digital instrument cluster. More features have also been added to make the Nexon even more competitive. While the engine option stays, the turbo petrol has a new DCT automatic on offer.

Tata Harrier/Safari

Along with the Nexon, the premium duo of SUVs from Tata Motors also got a proper makeover with the updated Harrier and Safari. The talking point here is the refreshed design language and more differentiation between the Safari and Harrier. Crucially both the SUVs get a new look interior and loads of new technology along with comfort features. While the engine option stays the same with the diesel, the driving experience is changed with the new electric power steering too.

MG Hector

The massive Hector recieved an equally massive grille this year with MG tweaking various design elements of its popular SUV. The new Hector has received a bigger grille and also gets new rear styling. Inside, the touchscreen is also the largest that you can get while the interior is also new with a new upholstery on offer and more technology as well.
