New Delhi: Here it is and finally, the new Innova Hycross is seen and while it has been leaked just days before its unveil, this early look shows how the new Innova has evolved. This is the new generation Innova Hycross and it sits on a different platform along with having a hybrid powertrain as well.

This first look at the images also shows how different it is when compared to the Innova Crysta. The design is clearly SUV like with the front-end being a mix of Fortuner along with a hint of the Hilux. You can see the grille and how the aggressive lower part of the bumper looks neat with an SUV twist.

The side also has a muscular look with the wheel-arches and the SUV like roofline while the wheel size seems bigger too. The Innova Hycross is much longer and wider than the Crysta with large LED tail-lamps and a big tail-gate. While the SUV-like look is there, the interior is all new and has a more luxurious look now. The touchscreen is large and there are new features like a massive double pane panoramic sunroof, digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, captain seats for the second row plus a lot more like cooled seats.

The other big change is of course the fact that the Innova Hycross is now purely petrol or hybrid with no diesel. There would be a 2.0l petrol engine but the main talking point would be the strong hybrid with a 2.0l petrol and an electric motor.

The Hycross then is more SUV-like and with these premium looks along with the fact that it will likely command a much higher price tag than the current Crysta due to the fact that it is of a much higher segment. Toyota will open bookings for it on the 25th of this month and we will know the pricing by January at the 2023 Auto Expo.
