SUVs are selling in big numbers and in this video let us talk about the best selling SUVs in India as per January sales data. These SUVs have been hugely successful and continue to bring in massive numbers month on month.

Hyundai Creta

The Creta has had its highest ever sales and is the best selling SUV in India with sales of about 18522 units. The Creta continues to be a big success and the new electric version adds to the sales while the standard Creta with diesel as well as petrol continues to dominate the sales charts.

Tata Punch

The Punch SUV is not the best selling car in India but it remains the best selling sub 4m SUV right now with huge sales month on month. The Punch has done 16231 units last month and that is a big number while being the best selling car for Tata for a long time now as now there is a CNG version too along with the highest selling petrol version.

Maruti Grand Vitara

The new Grand Vitara has beaten the Kia Seltos and some of the other 4m plus SUVs comfortably while reaching high sales of 15,784 units. The Grand Vitara also sells in big numbers despite not offering a diesel or even a turbo petrol but the hybrid strong variant is also a big draw.

Mahindra Scorpio

The big Scoprio continues to do very big numbers regardless of the other launches by Mahindra and the new Scoprio N plays a big part in that. The Scorpio manages to maintain its sales numbers and is a high consistent performer at 15,442 units. The Scorpio N with its size, presence and value is the bigger success.

Tata Nexon

The Nexon is also one of the best selling sub 4m SUVs in India after the Punch and despite new competition it still sells in huge numbers. The Nexon sold 15,397 units and the reason it sells in big numbers is its design, features which have been regularly updated. The new CNG version is also an important addition.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Fronx has been more successful over the Baleno it is based on. The design has been a big hit and it sells in massive numbers month on month. Fronx sales are at 15,192 units and the standard 1.2l petrol is the best selling version of the Fronx while Maruti also has the turbo petrol version too, in the Fronx.
