The newest and most talked about feature is the fact that how many screens now the car comes with. Earlier it was two but Mahindra brought in its XEV 9e with a triple screen layout including one for the passenger. While along with Mahindra, Tata Motors will also bring the same feature onto the Sierra.

The Sierra production version in the topend variant will come with a triple screen layout including a 12.3inch unit for the passenger too. We expect the Sierra ICE to have this setup and it was displayed in concept form at the Auto Expo. The Sierra in its production form would come later in the year and is one of the most talked about launches.

The triple screen setup will bring in an additional passenger display where the passenger will have access to entrainment functions. This joins the central 12.3 inch display and a digital instrument cluster. The other aspects of the Sierra interior include a four spoke digital logo steering wheel and a layered dasboard design.

The ICE and the EV Sierra would have different dashboard designs too with many changes. However, the triple screen setup happens to be a feature normally seen on much more expensive luxury cars while now it will be seen on a compact premium SUV.

We don't expect this to be on many variants though as we expect the Sierra top-end petrol and diesel to have the triple screen configuration. More details on the Sierra are expected to trickle in towards the end of the year leading upto to its launch.
